A pizza delivery woman was attacked in Woodbridge Sunday, Prince William police said.

Police responded to the 1200 block of Hale Court in the Marumsco area just before noon March 16 to investigate a reported assault, Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok said.

A 30-year-old Stafford woman told police that she was delivering a pizza when two men with baseball bats approached her and assaulted her. The men did not try to steal anything from the woman, Perok said.

Police used a police dog to look for the assailants, but did not find them. The woman was treated for “significant, but non life-threatening injuries,” Perok said.

The assailants are described only as two men wearing dark clothing.
