I plan to slowly work my way up in the business. ..learning the secrets...financial stability of the whole cooperation...how they all have no souls and lack any amount of common sense or genuine feeling...and then, as I am promoted to a point where ive gained enough knowledge of how it all works I will eat it alive like cancer and destroy it forever. Something like 50% of adults in the DC area have Masters degrees. Don't feel bad about not being able to make it here but you should consider moving some place less competitive.

This is funny as i only know and have met a couple handfuls of people with masters degrees. 50% is a huge percentage if you actually consider what you're saying. You're obviously not part of that 50%.

Then again...nearly everyone i meet with a Masters degree seems to lack genuine intelligence, rationality and the ability to compose intelligible, complete sentences to effectively communicate with others.

Perhaps you have a double-masters!

NOVA is a battle of the ego at every corner. Due to so many people having masters or higher education they are use to mainly focusing on themselves, climbing the educational and business ladder. They think they are smarter than everyone else in the room and lack compassion and genuine emotions. I've been in NOVA for 20yrs, it's sucked since I got here and still does.

Try to find a small group of people (that are not from this area), find some hobbies and try to ignore everything else about this area to keep your sanity.

I grew up inside the Beltway but agree with most of what you said. There are some decent people from around here but most of us have moved farther out. Look for people at gun ranges and you'll generally find decent people.

Don't like the great counties of Northern Virginia? Pack your bags and leave, this is my nation, and my great state. Feeling a bit depressed? Deal with it.

NOVA & the rest of the greater DC METRO area is not what it used to be.
Starting with the seven top real estate mogels, mostly Apostate Jew's and the rest Cross dressing Christians, rule the land in NOVA.
It is for a fact not a Commonwealth anymore in this region, at least, of NOVA.
And it is not necessarily a college degree that gets you the big money in this area. There are many people with a master's degree and beyond who do not, simply, make any significant amount of money.
An old but realistic cliche` that would be quite applicable is "it's not what you know but who you know" that gets any given person the big salaried positions.
And to get the even higher paid positions, the second rule would be "it's not who you know, it's who you blow"!
Of course, you must sacrifice any vestige of self respect and dignity, or your soul, if you are a religious one, to acquire any kind of wealth in any given place. Pretty much across the globe.
Are you not all paying attention to the fine and numerous example proving this? They do blow smoke and place mirrors in your face readily enough to keep it disguised as much as possible. If you are paying attention, you should not have any problem seeing thru the smoke and mirrors so craftly put in place to hide all this. Yet, deep down inside their collective consciousness they know the real truth of how they obtained their wealth.
They cheated. They stole. They backstabbed others to get it.
Read The Bible. Study some of the other dominant religions as well. Buddhism is a great one. An ancient religion compared to the rest. Originating out of ancient China along with it development of its monetary system over thousands of years. Some of it is a bit far fetched. But it still has a lot to teach a person. A wisdom of what real wealth is. And with that, you can take some of it with you when you die. Thru the hearts of humankind. How you are remembered.

I choose friends who are not from around here. I don't understand the mentality of Nova natives, going to work is optional, the job must suit them, the job must pay a lot even if they majored in art, they are particular about food (none of which is outstanding), routine chores are off putting, they wouldn't think of asking the children to mow or shovel, many can't turn a vacuum on, they think Arlington is full of hoodlums. pampered kids have no life skills, parents have no common sense.

I am contacting all Fairfax Co Police Departments and will REPORT ALL OF YOU. I am not joking, as Principal and Leader of my School, I do not permit these sort of behaviors! Shame on you all!
