Rocky Run vs Frost: Transferring?

tl;dr: Want son to attend Rocky, not Frost. How to go about this?

A little backstory: my older son went to Rocky and loved it, and it's time for my next son to attend middle school next year. However, due to the boundary change, he is no longer able to attend Rocky and has been assigned to Frost. However, I'd like to do the best I can to circumvent this and be able to attend Rocky.

I've emailed the principal and no luck about simply transferring. Hopefully there might be another hidden policy? Otherwise, I'm planning to use the family relocation transfer process and use a family friend's address and information(copy of lease, etc), but will that be enough? Thanks!

You don't. Frost is a great school. Your son will love it there as much as your older son loved rocky run. Change can be a good thing. Embrace it.

Frost has higher SOL scores and a higher student population so your son can fit in.
