San Francisco pet owners better be on alert when they walk their pets because the police department has announced someone is placing poisonous meatballs around town to kill animals who eat them — again.

“These were incredibly well-hidden,” said Lt. Denise BonGiovanni of the meatballs that were found under stairwells, in-between bushes and other places animals are likely to go into when being walked or playing outside. “They look very similar to the ones found last year.”

In 2013, hundreds of similar looking meatballs were found in San Francisco filled with poison. One of them killed a Dachshund who ate it during a walk.

The killer was never found despite a $5,000 reward being offered for information leading to arrests. Now that 30 more meatballs have been found, the local authorities will examine them to see if in fact they are poisonous, something BonGiovanni says “there’s a high probability” of being true.

What? I was wondering how someone would kill a meatball!!!!! At the very least, they should be neutered.

Poisoned Meatballs

Poisoned meatballs killed two dogs in Fairfax County in the Sully
Police District area in May of 2010. Animal Control officers were
called to a home in Centerville by a citizen because their fivemonth-
old Pit Bull puppy had ingested a meatball tainted with
an unidentified, toxic substance and became ill.

Investigating officers determined that an adult West Highland Terrier at a
neighboring home had also ingested a tainted meatball at
around the same time. Both dogs died a short time lately.

The meatballs were found in the back yards of a total of three
homes close to each other.
They were collected and sent to a
local laboratory for analysis. An Animal Control commander,
police patrol commanders and officers responded to assist in
a canvass of the neighborhood.

i'm pretty much more worried about 3 churches being knocked off in one night

or how a foreigner can end up "owning" usa farm or land by killing the previous occupant they attracted on craigs list

and that ... cops don't give a fuck and no one is doing head checks, apparently

More likely it's just a different person doing the same thing. Hopefully they're targeting ugly worthless pit bulls. Also, "Now...Now"?
