I work near Springfield/Kingstowne and each day at lunch I try to find a good salad but can't seem to find one. Any suggestions? Prefer to-go but will "eat in " if I must.
What's a "good salad" to me? Fresh ingredients, decent size, good options for what goes in it.
Mike's American Grill has awesome salads. May be more than you want to spend though. They don't do carry out, but you can order from the bar and then take a bite, and get the rest to go.
Giant Food at Kingston. Giant has the best salad bars hands down.
You could trip up to Tyson and go to Tysons 2 to the salad bar place on the first floor in the middle. Seeing Sweetgreen above I think thats it. Many awesome salads but pricy 10-11 dollars.
Today I got a carry out order of spahgetti and meat sauce 9.99 from Franconia Pizza and it has a nice salad with it , so there bigger salads will be good too. Greek salad, Chef others Green salad about 5-6 dollars.

This is the wrong season for salad.
Spring and summer seasons are the best time for eating salads.
Stews, chillis, soups, pasta dishes are more prepared for tasting in winter time.
