None of the buses functioned they shoulda today.

How about we quit runaway from the problems and get some S done for a change?
How about we fix are buses like any other state or county so they can function when it gets down below 30 degrees?

We have the largest bus fleet of any school system. To fix them all it would require more expenditures with money we don't have. So it's either your kids don't go to school, or they raise your taxes. And we all know what group of people would have a fit if they were asked to pay more for other people's children's education.

Might as well plan on FCPS shutting down next week. Overnite temps predicted to be in single digits to mid teens.

Just close the schools in Jan-Feb and have the kids go in Summer when the buses work. Problem solved!

Yeah, so that instead of not working today, they wouldn't have worked on Monday. That's a great plan.
I'm sure the problems they had today have nothing to do with the fact that the busses hadn't run since last week. It's obviously due to incompetence and waste. Hell, I bet the lazy bus drivers simply sabatoged their vehicles in order to get a full week off.

Well the predicted low temps for next monday, tuesday, and wednesday are 10, 8, and 12. Highs 17, 21, 29.
May as well just go ahead and punt the whole fucking week now and at least people can make plans (like going on vacation somewhere warm which is what I'm doing)
