Official: FCPS schools closed 1/24/2014

Good afternoon. I am the public relations person for FCPS. I have been informed via text that schools have been closed this Friday because of the sidewalk conditions around the county. An official statement will come out later tonight.

Amen! I'm so glad I don't have to go in to teach tomorrow. Those kids would be nuttier than a porta potty at a peanut festival. I'm all for teaching, but just not this week. And luckily, we have two teacher workdays so I can catch up on grading all my papers.
