DC 101 in General is terrible. They should hire somoone who is not a grandmother to choose their play list which consists of cock rock (Kid Rock, Papa Roach, Limp Bizkit) yes they still play these band, or the uber but uber mainstream and completely worn out Jeremy, Alive or Evenflow from Pearl Jam which is still on heavy rotation at DC101. Really guys?

To top it off, Elliot Siegel is the most non comedic personality I have ever had the misfortune of listening to. In summation his show consists of Obnoxious laughter followed by repeated interuptions of the even less funny, late 40's female co-host when she tries to give the news.

Perhaps the worst part about this show is the group of white folks that like to follow it and wear shirts which say "smell my face" and other witty maxims of our time. Such white folks usually have lots of patchy facial hair (bears are extremely popular now...show how rebelious you are "bro"), have recently switched from Bud light to the next big craft beer sensation, wear lots of Washington Capitals stuff, and are usually adorned with several tatoos of a very typical selection.

All the good radio talent has already gone to Sirius. No need to hate on Eliot, the Junkies, etc. Those folks know their days are numbered. Advertising is fleeing the AM/FM band.

I used to tune in just for Diane's dirt. How annoying and unfunny for Elliott to continually interrupt her with his mouth full of food, interjecting a comment.

Eliot is awesome.

He will be missed in this area. He is much better then everybody else in the area.
