If you are arrested for a serious crime the jail often runs your social; if you don't have a social or it doesn't match up then they can alert ICE and ICE will either but a detainer on the person in question or, based on the crime, let it be.

Take away their ability to buy pre paid no contract phones and the issue will solve itself.

If they're willing to work, let them stay. If they're Obama-style lazy freeloaders, send them back. You'd be hard-pressed to find an American willing to work half as hard as most illegals for even three times the pay. Americans have gotten fat, lazy, greedy, and stupid thanks to years of entitlements.

I'm sure one of the legal eagles will weigh in on this, but I don't believe state and local law enforcement officials are authorized to enforce U.S. immigration laws unless they participate in a special Federal program and Fairfax doesn't participate. When people are taken into custody on state or local charges they can notify the Feds and get them involved.

They are not "taking" your jobs. American businesses are choosing to give them jobs instead of you.

If there were no demand, there would be no supply. Don't blame hardworking people who came here to get a job - blame the American companies who are flouting federal law in order to raise their profit margin by a half-percent. You know, the same companies who fired most of their hourly workforce when the recession hit, but haven't hired back up to normal levels because they've realized that customers will put up with one register being open on a weekend if they can save a buck-oh-two on a shitty blender.

And FCPD cannot arrest suspected undocumented workers without the commission of some other kind of crime or civil offense, because there's no probable cause to check their immigration status, otherwise. And, before you say anything, please note that having a certain complexion or knowing how to speak Spanish does not constitute probable cause.

I can hire an immigrant who will be grateful to work his ass off for $30/hr or an American who will lounge around and complain if he gets $50/hr. You figure out which I'm going to hire. Even worse if it's one if Obama's kids.

The one thing that mainstream conservatives, libertarians and liberals can agree on is supporting illegal immigrant workers against American workers. The mainstream conservatives and libertarians will say that the American worker is just lazy, and that the reason he can't get a job is because he can't pull himself up by his bootstraps, or is incompetent/mentally deficient. And the liberal will tell the American workers that they are lazy and entitled because of white priveldge (ignoring American blacks et al completely).

During election season conservatives will take a line against illegal immigration with pipe dreams of building the Great Wall of America. But once election season is done they go back to supporting their coorporate backers who hire illegal immigrants in droves.

Conservatives and libertarians both believe that everyone who is rich got there from their own hard work despite the thousands and possibly millions of people who made it happen. The perception also applies to those who inherited all their money.

Liberals with their belief in the mythical white priveledge assert that everyone who is white and can't get a job is just too stupid and lazy to make use of their skin-color-guranteed priveledge. They also consider the white American workers' desire to work a form of entitlement. Meanwhile, the rest of America i.e. unemployed non-white workers, don't exist in their paradigm.

Somehow I suspect you are using some bad hire 5 years ago to justify filling positions with foreign labor at lower rates rather than using domestic labor. And you do know if you are willing to hire and train recent college graduates, you could hire bus loads for $30/hour legitimate.
