Nope...just pick up a bball or football and your are in...it is over crowded and over priced with white kids who are too afraid to go to TC...

The tuition isn't "extraordinary." As for what you receive? There are better private schools in the area. There are also worse private schools in the area.

Academically, you will get what you pay for: a strong, college-preparatory program.

The atmoshere may leave a bit to be desired. If your child is a priss or a complete prick, it will be perfect. Or if your child doesn't mind keeping his nose in his books and ignoring the jerks around him, go for it.

Maybe it's changed since they brought in the girls, but I doubt it.

2013-2014 Tuition

$24,010 - Full-Day Junior Kindergarten
$26,884 - Grades K-2
$27,074 - Grades 3-5
$29,640 - Grades 6-8
$32,074 - Grades 9-12

If you send 1 kid from pre-K to 12th grade, it'll cost you a cool $400k..that's just tuition. Add sports, other extracurricular activities, and school fundraisers..you'll probably end up giving SSSAS half a million dollars PER KID

Outrageous! And absolutely NO GUARANTEES that a child sent there will graduate in a better position academically than if they went to a FCPS high-school...but, there's something to be said for it being a nigger void, truly.

From Episcopal's website: The Comprehensive Fee for the 2013-14 School year is $47,850.

That includes room&board, health services, most sports, etc. Quite a bargain.

So that's about 400-500k before the kid goes to college. Absolutely insane. I don't care how much you earn, what is the point? Seriously - what do you think you are buying?

Speaking of expensive private schools in NoVA (SSSAS&Episcopal are in City of Alex, Madeira is in FFX County)...
