Two Gunshots in Mount Vernon??

At 12:04am I heard what sounded like a single gunshot. About a minute later, I heard another one. Police scanner is offline. Did anyone else hear them? Were they actually gunshots? Seems a lite late for fireworks.

Probably some citizen obeying Biden's recommendation for dealing with someone who breaks into your home. Just fire 2 shots into the air from your porch. I'm sure everything is fine.
