The Leesburg Police Department is asking for help in identifying the man caught on a security camera video breaking into vehicles at a Cornwall Street home in the early Wednesday morning.

Anyone with information about this incident or who may know the identity of the person involved is asked to contact Detective Vogel at 703-771-4524. Callers wishing to remain anonymous can call the Leesburg Crime Line at 703-443-TIPS (8477). Information can also be sent using TIPSUBMIT via text. Text 274637 (CRIMES) and begin your message with LPDTIP.

Leesburg Police also point to the video as additional evidence as to why residents should take the time to remove valuables from their vehicle and to lock up their parked cars.

The Leesburg Police Department is asking for help in identifying the man caught on a security camera video breaking into vehicles at a Cornwall Street home in the early Wednesday morning.

Suspect may have been involved in other car break-in's in Northern VA.
