how often have you been there? It's definitely not full of high school dropouts and not even close to a dump... maybe you should be a little more open minded. If you've been there on a decent night you'd know there is a decent young crowd dressed like they would be at any other bar. Jersey Trash? What is a cool bar? If you go out around here in general I'd say you can see a decent amount of these people you'd call trashy.

Just don't go to the Blue Water Grille on Westfields Blvd. They often have some undercover, overpaid cop in the bar area. He watches how much people drink and watches people leave.

Looks like a decently stocked bar. How are the prices, for say a scotch? Do they pour liberaly, or do they measure each drink with anal meticulousness?
Whats on tap? Imported beer prices decent?
Food ok? Portions good?
I need a decent bar with a variety of drinking choices, good food, and at least an occasional middle aged gin soaked baroom queen.

IF you like classic Rock go to the Backyard Grill and catch Dolly Sodds if you like DJ dance music stay out side.

The bar setup is nice for the summer months with an open outdoor patio feel. The crowd is "Jersey style."
In fact the last time I was I even heard people with Jersey accents. The best time to hit the bar is Thursday happy hour between 5-8pm for cheap $2 bottle beers.
No competition for the Reston Town Center. The RTC is the real spot to be for the "in crowd" these days.

Finding a bar where the women know when it is time to take it to the parking lot or men's room is difficult these days.
There is also the issue of her becoming upset because you have "wiped off" using the back of her skirt.
