http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/tysons Tysons West is a proposed mixed use development that's next to the Spring Hill Metro Station, the western-most stop on the Silver Line. The project includes three new buildings, an urban-format Walmart, 24-hour health club, medical offices and restaurants. The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors is scheduled to consider the proposal in fall 2013.

2050? Most of us will be dead by then. And with the typical delays around here why don't they just add another 50 yars and say it won't be ready until the year 2100.

...and speaking about the 2050 goal for Tysons, will the mall and the Galleria still be around in 2050? Those buildings are showing their age and I don't think they are built to last that long...
