Woman Robbed in Centreville area
Sully Police District – A 44-year-old woman leaving a coffee shop in the Old Centreville Crossing Shopping Center, 13800 block of Braddock Road, was robbed after getting into her car at around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, June 6.
The victim entered her car and noticed a man standing at the passenger side of the car. He produced a gun and demanded that she open the door and surrender her purse. She screamed; he grabbed the purse and fled. There were no injuries.
The suspect is described as white, in his 20s, with a reddish scruffy beard. He was approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighed between 160 and 180 pounds. He wore a black shirt and gray sweatpants.
