SOLs - The silly season at FCPS

Math SOLs next week - so the kids watched a movie today in math class ahead of the long weekend. Now my kid's school has a 96% pass rate for the Math SOL, but showing movies BEFORE the SOLs? Don't they know they have all of June for that?

Of course they watched a movie. The teacher wasn't going to teach or review with just a small fraction fo the class. Probably half the class was missing due to the parents pulling them out for a long Memorial Day weekend. ALl fo the overly entitled parents and kids in the county feel it is their right to miss class anytime they want AND they still DEMAND to get A's. Its absurd.
