Ok, you arent building the Brooklyn Bridge here. Just how much longer are you retards going to fuck up the traffic westbound? Shit has been going on forever. Typical government job, drive by two people working eight watching.

Typical VDOT job you mean. I watch the silver line construction every day and they have 20 man crews all busting their asses. Perhaps you should ask the GOP appointed head of VDOT why his agency needs a $6 billion budget if they work like this?

What a bunch of whiny people. The project hasn't been going on that long. What, you expect rebuilding a bridge WHILE it's still open to traffic is going to take two days? Shit, it took two months to rebuild the roadway on Hillside and it was a major priority since the road was completely washed out.

For the record, the project started near the end of Sept 2012 and they are trying to get it completed before the end of the month. Thus, the night work recently.

The project website says it will be done at the end of the month. http://www.virginiadot.org/projects/northernvirginia/old_keene_mill_road.asp

You should see Silver Spring and that project there. 1 person working (driving around a dump truck and everyone else taking breaks all day long.

if it is someone forgot to pick up the cones and barriers because it was there yesterday, doing that kind of work westbound during rush hour is bull shit.

Don't you hate all this time and effort spent repairing bridges? http://www.seattlepi.com/local/article/Interstate-5-bridge-collapsed-over-Skagit-River-4544826.php

Drove through this morning, they are still working on it. 3 Workers were carrying equipment in the right lane (eastbound) at 7:45, so they seem to be trying to get it done. It doesn't seem to make a huge difference in my commute. Feel for those folks in Chantilly that have been putting up with the route 50 widening project that has been going on for over 2 years, and the end isn't in sight.

another post by uninformed liberal. An oversized truck struck the supports of the bridge causing its collaspe. The bridge didnt need repair until the retard struck it.
