Really? I drive thru there, toasted, all the time.
Did they have the entire intersection closed or were they just checking cars on Rte 50?

If you're upset with people posting checkpoint locations, just post additional false locations. You'll have people driving in circles and it will make any future "alerts" irrelevant.

All these checkpoints do is stop illegals and grand parents without cellphones. All the major "traffic apps" have these checkpoints posted with in minutes of when they start up. Plus the word usually spread like wild fire at all the local bars and parties. People just drive around the checkpoints, even the ones off the exits.
The people I know who really drink just check their cellphone app before they head home. Checkpoints were effective before cellphones. Now they are a waste of time to catch the real DUI's. Even the police know they are just "putting on a show."
