Hunan West had five critical violations last inspection, same kind of shit. Peking Chef one critical violation. I applaud the inspectors for taking their job seriously. The public needs to know what goes on in these places.

I have used the website for years, I know it is not a guarantee you will get a clean meal but it sure lets me know who is always in violation.

My policy is to never eat at any cheap Chinese food restaurant. It's all crap, and you could very well get sick. Sure it's convenient, but it ain't like it used to be. However, if we're talking Peking Gourmet or Mark's Duck House, then I'm all in!

There are no cheap Chinese restaurants in Northern Virginia.

They are all expensive.

China King...all locations are good.

Roach infestations are rampant however at all chinese restaurants, has to do with doors open in back and vegetables in crates on floors. Nips cant put shit away in freezers like logical food service peeps

For the most part Chinese food is unhealthy and just gross. So greasy. Check the calorie count on General Chow's Chik next time you wolf down half a pound of that crap.

Duk Wo is filthy, too. Tau Tau is filthier. The Szechuan Cafe was on the local news earlier this year for being out of control with violations. You are lucky you only shit for 30 minutes. A family member of mine had to be hospitalized after eating at one of these locations. Always check the health department website before you go anywhere to eat.

A&J's has decent Taiwanese food and that place in Fair Oaks mall has passable beef noodle soup.
