Somebody told me Fairfax county schools are going to be opening two hours late tomorrow because of the ice and snow expected tonight.

Looks like the storm is going to be pretty bad for the morning commute.

School has been cancelled until March.

I think they will be starting two hours late from now on due to the new policy. Seems the parents didnt want to act like parents and tell their kids to get in bed at night. So instead of getting to school on time they now allow them to come in when they feel like it.

Thanks to the liberal teacher unions and Fairfax county having 20% of students that are Hispanic (80% of them not paying property taxes to cover the school's fees), have turned school into a big cluster F*. Stay at home, learn more.

A special "shout out" to the people at Gatehouse who are doing such a tremendous job to care to provide a very effective learning environment where the students are properly challenged to learn and they are not taught to memorize answers for tests.
