The man is described as average build, around 5 feet 10 inches tall, with dark, greying hair, no facial hair, and possibly in his 50’s. He wore black sweatpants, a long-sleeved black shirt underneath a gray T-shirt, black socks and black, New Balance tennis shoes.

Well....... Was the guy white or black! Every other thing was mentioned except his race. If he was black I am going to auto assume he was a criminal. White, a guy who was just on a walk.

Seems like a heart attack.

He's old. Very old. They all tend to start dressing in all black when they get old. It makes them look slim.

My running buddy and i were out this morning running and saw the police and the dead body. He looked white to us, except for lookin very grey like he had been there awhile. upsetting.

And this is also why you should at least try to carry some form of ID when out and about.

when race isn't mentioned, they're usually hispanic or black. don't want to upset anyone

Sounds like some guy had a heart attack during his daily workout. Early in the morning a lot of people run and workout on the Reston woods trails before work.

Looks like he has been ID'd...

UPDATE: Body Identified

Police have identified the body of the man found in the Reston area as Christoph Walker, 51. Walker is from Sacramento, California and has been visiting a relative in the 11200 block of Harbor Court, Reston. He apparently went out for a run and did not return home. The relative became concerned, saw the news release on a local news website, recognized it may be his family member and contacted police.
Detectives do not suspect foul play; cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy.

That's so sad. My heart goes out to him and his family. Awful way to go. Outside cold and alone.

That fucking exercise will kill you every time!

A local contractor has been hiring illegals and then murdering them at the end of the job to avoid paying them. FCPD got a tip that under the cover of fog the contractor was trying to dispose of the bodies near the jogging path.
