Maine first east coast to legalize marijuana

Supporters of Portland’s Question 1 claimed victory tonight, celebrating their work to make Portland the first city on the East Coast to legalize possession of up to 2.5 ounces of marijuana for adults over 21. Virginia will be like the 47th or 48th state to legalize weed if it even happens at all.

You're right. Unless the tobacco lobby got behind it. Then we would see VA legalize it pretty quick.

Are distributors allowed to possess more than 2.5 oz? If not, I guess you'd have to buy seeds and just grow one plant at a time.
