I wonder what budget item they plan on using the extra $8,000 for, or whose brother is the contractor being paid $10,000 to replace that door.
No way that garage door costs $10,000. But I'm sure the city council will hand over $10,000 without asking too many questions.

As much as I like to beat on wastefull spending those doors do run around 8-10k installed.
