School Board chooses secret search for new superintendent

From the same consultants, HYA, and same process that brought you "the man with a tan and no plan."

We can look forward to 7 more years of failure.

Oh, goodie!

Isn't it great that we added 6 new School Board members so that they can continue to act just like the tired old group we just got rid of.

The "we" you refer to yourself as got rid of 6 board members, and either nothing has changed, or this is the best practice. Keep bitching and moaning, because you don't have any other choice, amiright?

You don't have to send your kids to public school. Government institutions are designed for those who should be institutionalized.

A thread on the school superintendent is just what Fairfax Underground needed!

Dont waste your time at the "feel good, your input really counts" meetings. They already know.

The new superintendent has got to go. I don't know who he or she is, but I can tell already he/she has or has not:

1. Renovated my kids school
2. Updated the SR&R
3. Changed my boundaries
4. Closed my school
5. Controlled the board
6. Threatened my kids special program (band/aap/sports)

All in all, a terrible failure for a place like Fairfax, and he/she has got to go...just as soon as he/she is hired.

I voted for that big school bond, and all six of my kids are still stuck in those damned trailers.

I just got back from the fertility clinic and I'm having quintuplets, and my sister-in-law is having triplets, and my neighbor is having quadruplets. We demand class sizes under 10 students!

Oh, so wise Oakton student, do share when "public input" ever mattered in any FCPS decision.

Do share.

I don't blame them for tuning out you whiny, entitled parents who believe you know how to run an entire school system because your little snotty kid has special needs.

Tired and old are not adjectives that you should deploy so readily, at least not without a mirror close at hand.

By the way, now that South Lakes has over 2300 students, why was its football team still so bad?
