fun things to do in fairfax that are family friendly and free?

other then the FCPA parks and receration (parks, wildcenters, etc) what else can we fairfax people do that are family friendly and free? No nightlife stuff.

You can look for free, but you have to pay to get on their weekly email list. It's an impressive list though.

Visit the Fairfax County Government Center(Taj Mahal) and wander the halls studying the art works that line them and also see your tax dollars at work. It's free
