Yeah, strange, the "pyramid" page just shows Stone but , if you search a little further, others are named, too, as the 2nd post notes.

Ormond Stone Middle School= Westfield pyramid
Rachel Carson Middle School= Oakton pyramid
Rocky Run Middle School= Chantilly pyramid

I think they call 'em "split feeders".

The "pyramid" assignments identified by FCPS are really just for internal administrative purposes. They don't necessarily tell you which elementary or middle schools send some students to a particular high school. As the other poster mentioned, there are plenty of so-called "split feeders," particularly in the western part of the county. I think Carson sends students to Oakton, South Lakes and Westfield, for example.

By the way, I'm not sure that Rocky Run sends any students to Westfield. I thought all of Rocky Run is zoned for Chantilly. Franklin MS, which hasn't been mentioned, definitely sends some students to Westfield.

Agreed. From the public's perspective, pyramids are pure BS. They don't exist.

The only way to tell what ES/MS/HS any particular house goes to at any instance in time is to use the FCPS boundary web site & enter the address. FCPS redistricts each level independently & can redistrict any house they feel like at each level (as long as it's not one of Janie's). FCPS policy says an occupied dwelling should be redistricted no more frequently than every 3 years or so, but FCPS interprets the policy to mean 3 years for each level, not cumulative 9 years.
