in full force today. just passed a slew of them milling around, blocking traffic, at the intersection of chestnut farm and beulah. they were probably devising a plan on how best to snarl traffic on beulah, 123, whatever street.

Kudos to the Falls Church Police for busting a wayward and reckless cyclist last week:
False ID to Law Enforcement, Washington & Old Dominion Trail On Feb. 17, an officer stopped a bicyclist for a traffic violation. The bicyclist provided a false name to the officer. Jeffrey H. Wicks, 58, of Arlington, was arrested for Providing False ID to Law Enforcement.
Funny how the pussy wouldn't even give his real name to the cops.

I agree, cyclist should obey the traffic laws and that law enforcement should hand out more tickets, but advocating hitting, even in jest, is just dumb.

but i was in my good car, and didnt want to risk lance or davis busting up my ride.
although i could have dexter manley'd one of them, suddenly have a big sneeze that just made me twitch the wheel slightly.....

I've certainly been glad that Reston spent the time and taxpayers $$$ to shrink both Soapstone and Lawyers roads from 2 lanes down to one, so that they could use a driving lane for a bicycle lane instead. It's been really nice getting trapped behind every slow moving driver, school bus, dump truck, and moped without the ability to pass anymore.......... It's funny, about the only slow moving thing I haven't seen anywhere on either of those two roads since they changed them is anyone riding a bicycle. I guess that now that the bicyclists have a dedicated lane all to themselves it must not be any fun to bike there anymore. They must have moved on to find some other traffic bearing street that they can fuck up.
