I really would like to buy a BMW but I am concerned about them not having turn signals or blinkers for changing lanes. First off, does anyone know why this is (is it a german thing?) and secondly, does anyone know a mechanic in Fairfax/Burke/Springfield who might be able to install them? I'm worried about safety so since they don't come stock, I'd prefer to have them added if it is possible.

All cars sold in the United States are required by law to have blinkers. Can you give us more context, please?

If this vehicle is staying in the Northern Virginia area, you don't need them. Save the money and spend it on something else.

I understand the dilemma. You may want to consider putting MD plates on that bad boy. Then you can not worry about the turn indicators and will fit in. Better yet, flip people off when you cut in (in PG Co) or give the courtesy wave (FFX Co) and you will blend right in - No worries.

I think the Lexus has the same problem - like a MBW they seem to have turn signal lights but they don't appear to ever work when changing lanes.

I have a BMW and I am better than you all. Just thought I would like to let you know. The only people I signal for are ferarris and stuff that are more expensive than my BMW. I PWN THE ROAD GET OUTTA MY WAY. Btw I am a douche bag like all my other BMW owning friends.

I have a Porsche 911 and I use my indicators all the time to avoid getting hit by lesser cars. The problem is that the other drivers are blinded by my awesomeness so they don't see my signals.

My experiences started when I was 7-years-old and ultimately I'm sure that my experiences happened at that time so that one day I would meet stupid motherfuckers like you.

It can be expensive to have the giant magnets removed from the BMWs front end. The ones that cause the BMW to be three feet from the car in front at any speed.

The more your BMW costs, the stronger the magnets!
