Bunch of cops, fire trucks, and ambulances at the intersection in Kingstowne. Anyone know what's going on? Roads are bloackaded with makeshift jersey walls

Sometimes this will happen when a weekend sale at a place like a donut shop or a bakery occurs... what did the free online police scanner feed tell you?

for good info, try:

When was this?

Last evening, intersection of Kingstowne Village Pkwy was blocked by a paddywagon at the Hayfield intersection. A bunch of cop cars and a tow truck were up the hill responding to a bad car crash.

Was there another closure today? I mean "bloackade."

Yeah you fucking retard, blockaded is a word. Use google next time before you try and troll you fucking idiot. Your troll is a fail. Anyhow, it is accident related, looks like a slver car and a blue mustang were involved in the accident. The msutang didn't look too bad but the other silver car was wrapped around a pole. It almost looked fucking melted. Also, Highlander can eat adick.

A local contractor has been hiring illegals and then murdering them at the end of the job in order to avoid paying them. The police received a tip that the bodies were dumped in the Kingstowne area. FCPD blockaded that intersection as part of the ongoing investigation.

I do believe he was knocking your spelling. You know, you could google words like blockaded to make sure they are spelled right.

Nicely done. Love the article with the detailed car descriptions "the black car hit the silver car."

The silver car looks like an early-mid 90s Toyota Camry and the black/dark blue coupe is a new Ford Mustang.

You can see the structural rigidity improvements in cars over the past two decades, the new Ford is still intact from the passenger compartment back, while the old Camry crumpled like a soda can.

Blessed are the murderous.

News/media sources are not legally allowed to release detailed information until police have been given an opportunity to notify loved ones in a fatal crash, and that includes detailed vehicle info. I would not want to find out on the news if I lost someone. They seriously could have said Toyota camry and blue mustang though...I don't think they had very much info on the accident when they sent their article out...

They're saying "speed is a factor" - if the light was green both ways I'd say "failure to yield right of way" is also a rather important factor; the Toyota turned left in front of the oncoming mustang.

Yeah but if you look back to the accident a couple of years ago when a lady turned into the path of a guy on 7100 and was killed, everyone wanted to torch the guy who had right of way because he was hispanic and may have been speeding even though she should have been able to see him

Holy shit, you're right! You need to call the police right now and tell them that. Those guys obviously don't know what they're doing.

We need more people like you working for public safety instead of the idiots we have in place right now. Obviously their years of training and experience are completely and totally wrong!

You obviously know so much more than the trained professionals, why aren't you out doing their jobs?

Obviously speed had limited to no factor whatsoever. After all, it shouldn't matter how fast the Mustang was travelling. If the Camry could see it, he shouldn't have turned. Heaven forbid the driver of the Camry decide he could make it through the intersection so long as the Mustang was driving reasonably close to the speed limit, only to discover that the innocent Mustang driver was exercising his God given rights to ignore traffic laws and go twice the speed limit.

Stupid Camry driver, he got what he deserved.

Yeah and no one here seems to think the asshat driving the Mustang at Mach 1 may have blown a red light. Sometimes a dick in a fast car is much more dangerous than a pair of q-tips in a sedan.

Ah, I see - you have a fundamental problem with rights of way laws.

Okay, here - let me quote what I posted again:

>>> "...They're saying "speed is a factor" - if the light was green both ways
>>> I'd say "failure to yield right of way" is also a rather important factor;
>>> the Toyota turned left in front of the oncoming mustang..."

Wow, such insensitive comments on here...

Anyway...The silver car was turning left, the mustang was going straight. Both were trying to beat the yellow light. The mustang t-boned the toyota.

The driver of the toyota was medivaced to the hospital. And his wife, died at the scene. I am not sure what happened to the driver of the mustang, other then he survived.

Franconia Police District – On Sunday, January 29 around 1:15 p.m., police responded to a crash on Kingstowne Boulevard. A 25-year-old man was driving a 2011 Ford Mustang northbound on Kingstowne Boulevard. A 77-year-old man was driving a 1994 Toyota Camry southbound on Kingstowne Boulevard. As both vehicles approached the intersection with Kingstowne Village Parkway, the 77-year-old driver attempted to turn left from Kingstowne Boulevard onto Kingstowne Village Parkway and was struck on the passenger side by the 25-year-old driver.

That Camry got rocked.

Old man tries to turn left on a solid green and misjudged the distance to the Mustang. Ouch.
