Skydiving in VA

Hello nova peeps, I would like to go skydiving and was wondering if any of you can recommend me to a place? I'm from northern Virginia and I would like to find a place that's close by (approx less than a 2hr drive)...thanks!

I've gone a couple of times at this place and had a blast. The accelerated freefall is worth it if you have the time. Skip the video--you'll watch it once or twice and then probably never again.

I'd rather fly upside down in a perfectly good airplane than jump out of it. Heck, I was paid to do it. How about THAT?

Orange County Airport. And make sure you wear a jock strap, b/c after the adrenaline wears off, you're going to feel like somebody kicked you in the balls (at least that's how it used to be, before they started this lame tandem shit (now you have to be strapped to the instructor; I don't think I'd like that). Jump alone if they'll let you.

If your from Northern Va go to No Limits Skydiving in West Point VA. They have two locations in VA and I have jumped with them twice. Its alot of fun!

THey offer Accelerated Free-Fall (AFF), which is you jumping solo with two instructors with you on the side helping to keep you stabalized and in the right position and you wave them off and pull the parachute and coast down on your own.

It's MUCH better than tandum crap.

Not all tandem is bad...remember that complete tool fucking the slut during their free-fall video? My kinda tandem. But I don't think I'd appreciate that kind of tandem if I'm on bottom...
