She's trying to run a stealth campaign. Never mention that she is:
1. GOP
2. Tea party
3. Anti-abortion rights
4. Anti-gay rights
5. Nouveau riche
6. Bottled blond
7. Blue contact lens

Does she really think that we are that stupid

Must be someone from the Favola camp. "Stealth campaign" is the same quote used here (from the Patch):

Democratic state Senate candidate Barbara Favola accused her opponent of running a “stealth campaign” and avoiding questions on tough issues at a fundraiser Tuesday night in the Ashton Heights community.

I looked at Merrick's creds. She created a business in her basement that has gone on to have over 2 Billion in sales (since sold). She created jobs. She created a business.

What's Favola done besides get appointed to boards by other Dems? She's a zero.

Caren likes to claim that she is a co-founder of WebMethods when, in reality, she was the Wife of the founder. In the beginning, she selected fabric swatches and paint samples for the officer decor after the venture capital firms infused the first millions of capital. Her next job was to arrange client meetings and cold-call customers. She was -- yes -- integral to the person who founded WebMethods. But co-founder -- no, hells to bells. If so, then I'm a co-founder of Apple since I used one of the first Macintosh computers. (She is a hummer at promoting herself.)

Careen is a great candidate. Very smart, very hardworking and she fits the district. As for a "stealth campaign," that's nonsense. She's been all over that district knocking doors and meeting voters.

She will make a great Senator.

Caren Merrick is a joke. She got booed out of the room at a debate in Arlington the other night when she kept asking for time time to argue with Barbara Favola, against the debate rules. Then she sends an e-mail out, bragging about staying above the fray while viciously attacking Barbara Favola for running a negative campaign. She gives me a headache.

I was at webMethods, too. Caren was cofounder, VP and on the management team - - check all the public documents! Of course if you are a neanderthal, you cannot imagine a woman being so smart and successful (and blonde to boot.)

Had the opportunity to attend the debate at Langley High School last night. Have to say that Caren Merrick was very strong. She has a great deal more substance than Favola who seems to be nothing more than a wannabe. Merrick's creds are substantial. I knew nothing of either candidate before last night and I came away with the feeling that Merrick was the much stronger candidate.
