3400 Block of White Oak Court – On July 24 at 4:14 AM the vehicle owner reported that sometime after 10:15 PM on July 23 unknown person(s) had entered both of his unlocked vehicles left in his garage with the door open and taken two pairs of prescription sunglasses from one of them. The investigating officer also found that at a neighboring residence the garage door had been left open and an unlocked vehicle entered and the console and glove box both opened. Nothing was reported taken from that vehicle.

Stolen Vehicle

3500 Block of Country Hill Drive – On July 24 at 6:11 AM the vehicle owner reported that sometime after 7:00 PM on July 23 unknown person(s) had stolen her 2002 Chrysler Sebring from the driveway of the residence and while going out of the driveway had struck and damaged the backyard fence. A second vehicle, which was unlocked and parked on the driveway, was entered and a cup of coins was taken.

3400 Block of Country Hill Drive (one vehicle) / 3500 Block of Country Hill Drive (four vehicles) / 3500 Block of Queen Anne Drive (two vehicles) / 9800 Block of Hampton Lane (four vehicles) / 9800 Block of McLearen Court (two vehicles) – On July 24 the vehicle owners reported that during the overnight hours of July23-July 24 unknown person(s) had entered their unlocked vehicles which were parked on the driveways of their residences or on the street in front of them. Items stolen from the vehicles included GPS units, I-pods, a phone charger, cash and items of clothing. Nothing was reported taken from four of the vehicles which had been entered and rummaged through.

9900 Block of Broadview Drive (five vehicles) / 9900 Block of Pinehurst Avenue (three vehicles) / 9900 Block of Farr Drive (one vehicle) – On July 24 the vehicle owners reported that during the overnight hours of July 23-July 24 unknown person(s) had entered and rummaged through their unlocked vehicles which were parked on the driveways of their residences or the street in front. Items taken included a camera, a cell phone, a flashlight, and a knife. Nothing was reported taken from five of the vehicles which had been entered.



Stolen Vehicle

9400 Block of Fairfax Boulevard / Foxcroft Colony Condominiums – On July 24 at 9:29 AM the vehicle owner reported that sometime between 12:00 Midnight and 7:00 AM unknown person(s) had stolen his unlocked 2006 BMW four-door sedan. Subsequently, the vehicle was recovered by DC Metropolitan Police at 4:30 PM on a street in Southeast Washington, DC. The vehicle was unattended at the time of recovery.

3500 Block of Cornell Road – On July 24 at 10:19 am the owner reported that sometime after 10:30 PM on July 23 unknown person(s) had entered the residence which is being renovated and had taken several items including a motorized bicycle, bed and mattress, and had rummaged through boxes of items in the garage.
