Dent Repair

I'm relatively new to Virginia and I have a truck with a good sized dent in it. The dent is on the side, behind the wheel but in front of the tail light and bumper. I'm just looking for an approximate range for how much it would cost to get repaired. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

i had a similar dent from a parking lot accident but on the front right corner panel. it was around 500. mostly for the paint feathering I think.

also, i bumped a black jetta in the snow going 5 mph last year and left a 1 inch white scratch on the bumper. I wrote a check for 400 for the paint job. she had gotten an estimate and not contacted my insurance.

Ok thank you that helps. Obviously, I assume the bigger the dent the more expensive the repair. But does size drive up the cost that much?

You should look in to getting your windows tinted while you've got the truck in the shop. I'm sure if you made a new thread about it somebody could point you in the direction of a good place to get this done.

size alone probably not. it has more to do with if another part is damaged as well. like if two panels are involved or lights. for instance the right front panel of my vehicle had a logo that needed replacement. don't start another thread. 10:58 poster is trolling.

I effed my car up losing control on an ice patch during the winter of 2009-2010.put a big dent in passenger side door but had no effect on the driveability(Word?) of the car
anyways for the next several months whenever i went to pan am shopping center would constantly get asked by dudes in a car that usually had out of state plates but not always if i wanted to get the dent fixed and they could do it quickly and cheaply
obviously i always give strong consideration to offers made to me by random dudes in a parking lot that sounds too good to be true but nevertheless i turned all offers down
must have happened to me close to 10 times. to the point of being ridiculous. hell even happened to me a few times this past winter
i like my dent gives the car character and the car runs just fine

anyone else experienced these scalawags

No. But +1 for your use of the word "scalawags." It absolutely doesn't appear often enough in daily discourse. :)

There has been a recent spike in the amount of Gypsies in Northern VA. They may be legit, but most of them will promise to provide a service but will not do it right. Gypsies scam people out of money all the time.
