Lancer Baseball 09 will shock you.

Nick McGovern- 3rd year varsity starting pitcher and CF and 2nd year captain
Jake Boswell- 3rd year varsity starting shortstop and emerging pitcher and 2nd year captain
Matt Keen- 3rd year varsity outfielder and pitcher
Nathan Slater- 2nd year varsity catcher after transfering from LB
Raphael Sanchez- 3rd year varsity utility player.

While all the other team's best players are moving on, Lee's best players are becoming seniors.

P-Nick McGovern, Jake Boswell, Nathan Slater, Matt Keen, Josh Gaghan.
C- Nathan Slater
1B- Clint Jones
2B- Raphael Sanchez?
SS- Jake Boswell
3B- Hunter Bronder?
LF- Matt Keen
CF- Nick McGovern
RF- Josh Gaghan?

At best, you will battle it out with West Potomac for 7th place in the district, now that Hayfield is moving to the National.

You guys run a clean program-no illegal recruiting crap that goes on at neighboring schools like Edison, West Springfield, etc.

Work hard over the Summer.

Nathan Slater is crappp. He would have been 3rd string catcher for LB this year. LB's whole infield is returning as is much its outfield. LB>>>>>Lancers.

*ALL* the other teams? Really? Doesn't LB have a number of top players that are currently sophomores? Oh, yand didn't they make it to, what, the semi-finals this year?

Glad you like your team, but they aren't the only good team out there.

LOL@Lee baseball. They've sucked ever since the Moreland brothers pitched there, and that was 5-6-7 years ago.

All the other teams in the district have key players returning also. The chance of you beating Bobby Wahl in a single game are the same as you beating Johan Santana. Please explain which of your stud pitchers will emerge as an ace to shut down the entire district.

They have a real legit chance of being good this year. Three of their players are playing for quality summer programs:
Raphael Sanchez- Mid Atlantic Pirates
Nick McGovern- Headfirst gamers
Nathan Slater- Richmond Braves

All three are fast and hit, and play good defense. Look for McGovern and Slater to have great performances on the mound as well. I hear all three of these players are drawing serious college interest.
