A wrestling official from Fairfax County was arrested Sunday on ten charges of possession of child pornography. Police are looking for anyone who may have information about the case.

Mark Barget, a 51 year-old resident of Lorton, judged middle and high school wrestling matches in the area. Officer Shelley Broderick of the Fairfax County Police Department said "numerous" schools participated in matches Barget judged.

Barget judged matches through the North Virginia Wrestling Officials Association, a group that contracts with school districts to provide officials at matches. Dave Sisson, the wrestling association's commissioner, declined to provide a list of tournaments or matches Barget judged to Kingstowne Patch.

Barget came to the Fairfax County Police Department's attention in June, when the Fairfax County Fire Marshal's Office notified police about Barget.

Ten warrants for possession of child pornography were issued. Detectives served Barget with the warrants at his home at 8311 Green Heron Way on Sunday, arrested him, and transported him to Fairfax County Adult Detention.

why did it take 3 months to serve a warrant and only after a traffic /accident on the road? Who screwed up?

that is typical.
They may have a warrant but they just wont touch you for a while. They ust want to see how far you could go. They usually have all the paper work together and ready. They even talk to the Commonwealth att and come with a plan. So the guy has no active warrant and you can present all the stuff to the magistrate as you wish.
After that they just fallow the guy here and there. As soon as you get him on a simple trafic stop; you strip him of all then hope for resisting arrest charges to be in place. Swap his cheeks for dna. Give him a soda or 2 cans of soda at the ADC , get DNA from there. Finally get the whole enchilada on him. Then we are talking about the grand combo!!!
