Manhunt going on around Braddock Road in Centreville right now

Anyone know what the guy did? Fairfax One and several k9 units are searching for a guy in the woods around Braddock Road (new Newgate and the Child Time I think). I just tuned into the scanner.

They are checking the woods near Braddock and Newton Paton right now with VSP swat and K9's. Never seen so many cops before in my life. Fairfax 1 is hovering over my apartment as we speak.

Dude, there were like 20 cops on 66, one blocking the 28 to 66 exit, cop at the corner of braddock and 28, one on Braddock, one on the corner of Braddock and Newton Paton, and one off of every single turn off of Newton Paton (about 10 or so) And that is just on the way to my apartment. This is intense lol.

this is amazing, in fairfax county the Virginia state police swat team. Those are the most skilled brave humans in this world. we are all so blessed to have them in our county right now. I now believe in god.

Haha. I'm a little further away, over in Belle Pond, but I can still hear FFX One pretty good. I'm gonna be up listening to the damn scanner until they find him. I really need to get some sleep, so they better catch him soon!

LOL. I'm at Braddock and 28 where all the woods are that they are looking in. It's a cop fest out here.

Oh also, I just spoke with fcpd. He is a blk male, 6' to 6'2" wearing a white t-shirt with no sleeves (poss tank top) and dark shorts.

Got 5.0 sittin at newton patent and watery mountain at 3:50am. FFX1 isn't in the sky any more or went silent. Braddock and 28 was shut down and units still all over the place. Hope they find this asshole.

As always I see nothing in the news about this... anyone have any clue if the suspect was caught?

This is very instructive... when the helicopters woke me up I assumed it was a manhunt and checked around the house to make sure everything was locked and OK.

Well, wouldn't you know turns out we had left the front door unlocked -- both the Deadbolt and Flip Lock. I was PO'd to see that security lapse for sure... then I get up read this thread... our house is in a corner by the woods...
