He is not currently running for any office to which he could be re-elected. Are voters in this area really this dumb?

I believe Connelly's supporters think so.

Connelly is a typical big government liberal, and we can thank the big Fairfax deficit that will increase all our taxes on him and his kind.

Do we really need even MORE government spending from him in Congress?

I am not in his district, but I'd vote for him over Fimian. Still, I admit that Connolly is probably the most disturbing looking local politician. A close second is the guy on the school board who looks like Abe Lincoln.
