A woman’s body was found Saturday morning under the Occoquan River bridge over Interstate 95.

Fisherman discovered the body around 9 a.m., the Prince William Scanner Bums page reported.

Police have not yet released any details on the discovery.

Fairfax County police on Friday night issued a report for a missing Alexandria woman, but there was no word this morning on if the cases were related.

Andrea Crew, 31, of Gila Court in the Alexandria area was reported missing on Thursday.

She was last seen near a bank in the 5500 block of Cherokee Avenue in Alexandria around 11 a.m. Wednesday, police said.

“She was seen getting out of beige Jeep Cherokee at that location. She has not contacted her family nor returned home,” police said in a news release.

In addition, police and the FBI in the Charlottesville area are searching for missing 17-year-old Alexis Murphy, a Nelson County girl who disappeared Aug. 3 on her way to Lynchburg to get her hair done.

Murphy’s car was found last Tuesday in a parking lot in Albemarle County.
