3rd DUI last night need help
Posted by: C J ()
Date: July 29, 2013 11:12PM

Got pulled over on FFX county pkwy last night for speeding. Had 3 beers at joes crab shack and somehow blew .08. Cop knew I had 2 priors 8 years ago and took me to the station where I provided blood sample which was .06. They kept me overnight in drunk tank. I need advice on good dui lawyers in Fairfax. I could be facing state prison.

You're done.

Unless maybe you're an illegal. They seem to be able to run up 5 or 6 convictions and nothing ever happens to them.

You stated your blood test came back .06. This should exonerate you unless you were acting or driving in a reckless manner. You said speeding. How fast? Call a good lawyer tomorrow preferably Robert Whitestone in Fairfax.

First of all I call bullshit as three beers with a dinner would not you get to a .08 with in two-three hours.

Second if this is your third DUI then you would know that a good lawyer will get this case thrown out since you tested .06 under the limit at the station.

Third you were under the legal limit you would not spend a night in jail.

You have nothing to worry about. Fork out the big cashola for a good DUI lawyer and enjoy happy hour tonight.

by the way, if they took blood, you wouldnt know the results until you go to court. it doesnt work that fast. do you mean they took a breath sample? thats the only way you would know you were a .06. stop trying to sugar coat the stupid shit you did, and just come out with it. cant give you advice if you leave stuff out.

I can completely understand 1 DUI, that could happen to anyone.

Maybe even 2, depending on the circumstances. MAYBE.

But 3? No, you're just a fucking idiot at that point and should have your license permanently revoked. Have fun taking the bus.

Use the prison time to contemplate where you went wrong in life. Oh, and watch out for the cornhole.

Wouldn't blowing a .06 get him a DUI as opposed to DWI? I'm not even sure if there's a difference legally, but if you're under .06 then OP should know, as a repeat offender, that's technically under the .08 limit for a DWI. Or DUI, whatever.

The 0.08 PBT reading is not admissible in court to convict you of DUI. It can only be used to show probable cause for your arrest. If you got a 0.06 on the blood test, you won't be convicted of DUI. There is no difference between DUI and DWI in VA, but VA uses the acronym DUI. This smells like a troll post.

Their Bean Town Bake isn't bad. Stay away from the salmon, it's farm raised.

Snow crabs are good and their sides are tasty, just not huge portions. I like Red Lobster a lot more. Either way dont drink and drive asshole.
