Kaka and Ronaldo from the world's greatest soccer team Real Madrid are in town this afternoon at Fedex Field to take on Chris Gomez and the MLS's most storied franchise DC United. Tip is 3pm, a few tickets remain for this once in a lifetime chance to see Real Madrid and DC United.

Sounds like something a Bush supporter would say. It is the most watched sport in the world, but I don't expect you to know that kind of stuff

They should check for green cards at the gates. If they do, 90% of the fans will not be at the game, but be on the way back to Latin America.

This match will determine once and for all which is the great nation on earth: Mexico or Portugal!

OH SNAP: a Spanish-language version of the Mexico vs. Portugal match:

Ariaga segundo!
yoo-hoo!

It really say something about a sport when the world's best soccer team comes to town to play the league's version of the Yankees or Steelers and nobody locally knows either fact or gives a fuck.

Wow, some active trolls

The game was great, the fans were rowdy. Dc did not play as well as they usually do, but several of their key players were on the field for 30 mins. It was however hot as hell.

I enjoy games more at RFK then Fedex.

a sport so popular that networks dont bother carrying it. Only popular because it allows kids to play with no equipment other than cleats, it sucks, I heard 30 years ago it would replace the NFL in the US, still waiting...

Man Soccer is such an illegal immigrant sport...

that millions of English (light skined if you may) watch it daily
just like millions of germans, scots, irish, italians the same type of people that came here and created our American country, your ancestors. Futbol is king, maybe not in america but it is what it is KING. Throwball is king only in america...besides who wants to watch 500 pound overwieght people pushing each other around?

Face it, youre not an american who hates the soccer, your just another Redneck hillbilly threatned by the sport. go back to your nascar, because thats a real mans sports, the athletes that they produce are top notch.

You still think Real Madrid are the best team ever after they lost to lowly spanish second division, Alcorcon by 4 goals!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! When a team is about to sack their coach after just three months, you know they got serious issues. Enjoy playing second fiddle to Barcelona (2009 winners of Champions League, La Liga, Copa del Rey, UEFA Super Cup, & Spanish Super Cup). It's good to be the king!
