Motorcade

I think there is a motorcade of some sort today on I-66 there are cops starting at the enterance where you can see the Pentagon and all the way to Exit 55, I got out at 53 cuz i live there but i think there is more police. They are like waiting for something

At around 11:30 am or so this morning I got stuck on the FFX CO Parkway....dead stop going northbound for about 15 mins no one moved. Then all the sudden, it just started up again, like nothing happened. There was no accident, but I did notice a bunch of motorcycle cops at the Braddock Road exit.

I realized at that point that it was either a funeral or a motorcade that stopped traffic.

Curious really. Since the motorcade came up 66, do they stop running the trains above ground as well until the motorcade passes? Really just a useless piece of knowledge if anyone knows.

I took at trafficland.com yesterday and 66 was a ghost town until he passed...didn't notice if any metro trains were running or not.
