VIENNA CIVIL WAR ENCAMPMENT

The Towm of Vienna is sponsoring a Civil War Encampment with a related Kids Civil War Camp on Saturday, July 25, 2009, at the historic Freeman House. The day will include a general encampment with infantry, cavalry, artillery, a general headquarters unit, military hospital (where you can learn about medical techniques of the day) and related military along with civilian participants. The encampment will also host a kid's camp for the day. Recruits will be inducted and introduced to the various military specialties by training alongside the attendant military participants.
