You're right, its the same guy. I couldn't find an arrest record for him though. I would have thought his trial date would have come and gone.

Obligatory:

TUNALLI HODIFA ABDULHAKIM 18 02/08/2012 18.2-96(2) PETIT LARCENY: <$200 NOT FROM A PERSON 11328 WESTBROOK MILL LN, 304, FAIRFAX, VA 22030
TUNALLI HODIFA ABDULHAKIM 18 02/14/2012 18.2-95(ii) GRAND LARCENY: $200+ NOT FROM A PERSON 11328 WESTBROOK MILL LN, 304, FAIRFAX, VA 22030
TUNALLI HODIFA ABDULHAKIM 20 07/06/2013 18.2-174 IMPERSONATION: LAW ENFORCEMENT 11328 WESTBROOK MILL LN, 304, FAIRFAX, VA 22030
TUNALLI HODIFA ABDULHAKIM 20 07/06/2013 18.2-282(A) FIREARM/ETC: POINTING/BRANDISHING 11328 WESTBROOK MILL LN, 304, FAIRFAX, VA 22030

Couple additional points: 1) The Patch's reporting sucks. Arrest report says this happened on the 6th, not the 7th, and Hodifa is now 20—not 18. 2) 11900 block of Palace Way is the Fairfax Corner movie theater.

As far as I can tell, the most he served was 40 days for his previous crime spree. He was sentenced to 390 days and 350 days were suspended. He is currently on probation for the previous charges. Hopefully they get him for violating his terms and he is given the full sentence to serve in addition to the sentence he receives for a firearms violation.

serious question here. I think this guy is scum and should go to jail, but in Virginia, what exactly constitutes "Brandishing"?

unholstering? or simply showing?

Why is he a prohibited person? I see nothing that on this thread that would make him from having a firearm.

Do you have a code section making him "prohibited person" from having a firearm? I know he can not buy one or get a permit to carry one concealed but I do not know of a Virginia code section saying he can't process a gun while on probation. My understanding its part of his "probation" which does not make him a "prohibited person", it makes him a person in violation of his probation.

Is he a convicted felon because that would make him a prohibit person from having a gun.
