if you think someone has too many people living in home, list address here!!!!

then one of us can complain and the people will have no clue who it is, thus protecting the reporting party!!!

Here is how to do it!!!!!

Letter to the Zoning Office needs to include complainant’s name, address of property, # of people living in house, best time and date to send someone to inspect the property. It needs to be mailed to 12055 Government Ctr Parkway #829 Fairfax, VA 22035

Um of course you can call - the County has a number and will investigate. It is not an immigrant issue it is a zoning issue. If your neighborhood is not aware of the laws and resources they deserve what they get. The police cannot go door to door to check residences.

Be responsible, join your local civic association, spread the word. Help enforce zoning to make your hood nicer. Why is this some vendetta?

If you live in a HOA with an interactive Board, bring it up at the next Board Meeting.

During the past several months, I know of HOAs that worked with homeowners to reduce the number of tenants in boarding house type properties. HOAs in VA have been given more power than town and county zoning agencies to resolve more expeditiously.

In nearly every case, the homeowners did not live in the area and the properties were handled by a management company that did not follow as long as the rent was received on time. Most of the homeowners were grateful that the HOAs are staying on top of these lease vioaltions and keeping the homeowners notified.

uh yea, i live in a pretty ok part of town, and that doesnt stop 14 families from sharing 1 house and parking 200 pickup trucks /w lawn mowers on the street.

I know if I were an illegal immigrant, I'd try and get a place in Great Falls. Bigger lots, bigger houses, better schools ...

There's that law about not parking within so many feet of your neighbor's driveway.. if they're crowding you, call the parking fuzz.

There's a house I pass by each day that seems to have a yard sale every weekend and their yard and street are filled with trucks, old american cars, "POD" storage units, table sun-umbrellas etc, and they're rednecks. Rednecks can be worse than Mexicans with all their trucks and bullshit spread around everywhere and their music is only slightly less terrible than the polka nonsense... however neither group are really bothering me any, so live and let live

Either Fairfax County re-zoned the Tent City location on Sunset Hills Dr in Reston, or feigning lack of manpower to investigate (which is the usual fall back).

It's not like this (and other tent cities) is a huge secret.

Statistics show that it can take up to a year for Fairfax County to investigate and haphazardly resolve an overcrowding complaint.

The "better" communities where overcrowding is not a concern has nothing to do with money, it has to do with interactive Boards and community involvement. If we had to rely on the county to resolve overcrowding concerns, Northern VA would have a half million illegals living among us instead of 300,000.

We had an upward force on housing prices = Immigrants buying them all up for exorbitant prices (because they can afford it when you spread the cost over 4 families)
At the same time, they're driving wages down by working for sub-standard rates.

The home prices finally top out and crumble once the market realizes that ALL of the houses in the neighborhood are worth shit because no one wants to live in a neighborhood that looks like a Guatemalan shanty-town with white vans crowding the streets and yards.
