Lake Braddock

Does the secondary school Lake Braddock have a lot of parties?
I have noticed a trend of them being in the news about students getting in trouble for underage drinking. I was just wondering if it is a bad school to go to or would be a bad influence on your kids, because they all seem like alcoholics to me. I have heard many stories involving drinking/smoking pot from that school

Like there aren't similar stories at just about EVERY high school? Please.

Teenagers, alcohol, drugs, and parties = sure to be found at pretty much any American public high school.

exactly - if you're worried about your child then you should ship him out to be lock down school - cause it's the real world out there - you have to help your kids engage in shall we say good activities - come on people - take charge - if you are going to have children have a plan on how to raise them -

I graduated from LB a couple years ago. I'm not sure about tons of middle school parties, though the LB high schoolers certainly have them. In my opinion LB seemed to be going downhill while I was there and from what I've heard from parents/siblings of friends, it doesn't seem to be getting better. Yes there is underage drinking and people smoking (not at the actual school) but that's honestly more of a HS problem. If your kid is in the Honors/AP track then they are a lot less likely to do that sort of stuff than the dumber kids. Doesn't really matter though, once they go to college they'll definitely start drinking. If you keep yourself aware of what your kid is up to and who they are associating with then they are probably not going to get into shady crap.

OMFG smoking pot! Most addictive drug. All schools have partys that smoke and drink. Just be happy your kid is smoking and drinking and not snorting or injecting.

I don't think the actual school has ever had a party. The kids that attend may have, but not teh actual school(s).
