Metro Theft....

Whats the deal with the car theft at the Metro parking garages? As I was leaving today I was told of several cars getting broken into and ripped off at a few different metro garages. The cool thing is I was told there is a nice reward for information. Anyone have any idea of what happened?

Ever been to a Metro garage? Ever see Metro security walking around? No?

Vienna metro actually maintains a police presence, and for the area, Spingfield Franconia is pretty safe. The only one that has ever worried me is Van Dorn. The parking lot is pitch black at night.

I believe you, its just strange considering I always see the Metro police patroling the entire station. Plus, the Vienna metro is an end stop, seems like most vehicle break ins would happen at a station in the middle of the line.

I used to park there. If you came home in the middle of a day, you never saw a soul around from Metro. Whatever presence there is, it must be at night because I don't recall ever seeing a Metro cop in that garage...ever.

At night they stop a lot of people in the parking lot facing the condos, and they heavily patrol the path by Nutley Road. Not just the Metro police, but FFX as well.
