so this new craze about this www.thedkd.com site has a story about MIDGETVILLE. I'm trying to get the story straight, is this place for real? or a myth? I heard both sides of the story now.

yes, its real, but it was never a place where circus midgets lived, as most local legends claim it to be.
many local high school sports teams used to do hazing rituals there, but were inevitably chased off by the owners with thrown items, gun threats, etc.
it's not as big a deal as locals make it out to be.

True...it's gone now anyway. Those guys from Weird NJ/Weird U.S. (History Channel)

Racist bastards! Midgets are people too. They are play things.
Midgetville was suppose to be a quite place for the tenants but it turned into a peekaboo night time amusement. It's a wonder it stayed as long as it did. The last little person tenant finally died a few years ago.

A real place in the sense that there were small cottages there, but it wasn't some sort of midget commune. Small vacation cottages for when the Vienna area was "country" and the DC residents wanted to get away. Although that didn't stop my friends and I back in high school from driving back there honking the car horn and yelling "Go to sleep midgets!!" at 1am on a Saturday night.
