These as well as many others, all show basically the same thing - that the shift alleged to have been primarily racially based and attributable to the infamous "Southern Strategy" was underway long before any such strategy is even claimed to have existed. Rather, it primarily reflected increased economic development and growing wealth in the South (and elsewhere too btw) following WWII. Which completely undercuts the entire premise for the legend.
