CVS Armored Van

I've driven by the Franconia Police Station a few times and noticed two CVS pharmacy vans always parked in front. They have bars across the windows and ramming bumpers in front. Anyone know what these vans are for?

Pharmacy these days is dangerous business - no joke. Many opiate addicts and gangs that deal pharms would love to get inside that truck. I'm kind of surprised you're asking for those reasons; I thought it was common knowledge that drug addicts and gangsters do some crazy shit to get what they want, and an armored truck robbery seems logical in that context.

When I was at Giant's pharmacy, the trucks were locked tight, but since robberies of pharmacies were not as prevalent then (mid 90's), they weren't reinforced.

I admit I have no idea why they would be parked at a police station.

Pharmacy shipments at large chains like CVS, Walgreen's, and Target are typically delivered with general merchandise, but in special totes with tamper evident security measures. Some of this is also through the mail in otherwise plain packaging. I doubt that these vans are involved in the transport of class/schedule 2 narcotics as it would be too much of a target.

I have never ever had the curse or pleasure to try Meth. But with the overly violent and depraved actions, addicts will go through to get their hands on Ephedrine to manufacture it, It must be gooooooood shit!!
