Possession of Alcohol

How many people have gotten convicted of a possession of alcohol charge in high school but didn't check the box that asks you that question on your college applications? I've been charged but not convicted, and my court hearing isn't until after my college applications are due, but all the applications ask "have you ever been CHARGED with something", not just convicted. The schools say they do random background checks and it's better to be honest, etc, etc, but what's the real story?

Background checks cost money, I doubt that one will be done if it is a state school.

Wrong. The OP was charged with it when they either received their summons to court or had a juvenile petition served upon them. When the OP is proven guilty the he or she will be convicted of the charge. Please tell the DC judge to stay over in DC.

He has a pt... its a recession.. they need money. You could probably have been convicted of manslaughter in elementary school.. and they still would accept you.
